Kessler Family Adoption
Organized by: Jennifer Kessler
4 and 1/2 years ago, on November 18th, 2011 my luck in the dating world took a turn for the best, when I met Amy. Her infectious laugh caught my heart strings right from the beginning and I knew my smile would, from then on, be a little wider. She is uplifting, intelligent, caring, and incredibly genuine.
For two years, we explored many hidden gems of nature as we went on hikes, made memories with family and friends, laughed a whole lot, and grew more and more in love with one another. It wasn't long after the two year mark that I proposed to Amy, hoping that we could continue to compliment each other by bringing out the best in ourselves.
On November 15th, 2014 I promised to nurture the happiness Amy so deserves each and every day. I promised to celebrate her triumphs and mourn her losses as though they were my own. I promised to love her and accept her love. From very early on I knew that Amy would make an incredible mom and together we would help shape the life of a pretty incredible child. We would balance each other out so perfectly that our baby would get the best of both worlds.
My wife and I couldn't be more excited to become parents in early August! After many months of trying, and a great deal of fertility costs, Amy became pregnant in November. The thought that one of us would have to adopt the baby is incredibly unfair, however, it is an unfortunate reality. Although both of our names will be on the birth certificate, we want to secure our family with the most protection possible, as I will not be considered a legal parent unless the adoption is final.
Please consider making whatever contribution is possible for you in order to help fund the cost of this adoption. We are incredibly grateful for any support that comes our way!
