BENEFITING: GLOBAL AUTISM PROJECT
ORGANIZER: GLOBAL AUTISM PROJECT
EVENT: Global Autism Project
EVENT DATE: Oct 17, 2015
Please join Texas Kettlebell Academy as we fund raise for the GLOBAL AUSTISM PROJECT with our partner organizations: One Hour Long Cycle and Kettlebells 4 Autism.
On October 17th at 1:00 p. m. CST (11:00 a. m. PST) Texas Kettlebell Academy athletes will join lifters from around the world and to Long Cycle for 1 hour continuously.
We all do this together to pay tribute to those affected by autism and to raise funds and awareness for their family members seeking a path to effective treatment. The long cycle movement is comprised of a kettlebell clean, followed by a kettlebell jerk, and participants are not to set the kettlebell down for the duration of the hour.
All satellites locations participating in the event begin their 60 minutes of long cycle movement at the same time, no matter where in the world they live, alone or with a group. Satellite locations are welcome anywhere and can include a single lifter or many lifters. See onehourlongcycle.com for a list of locations, or to become a satellite.
GLOBAL AUTISM PROJECT wrote -
The 6th Annual One Hour Long Cycle, International Event, brings together kettlebell sport enthusiasts world wide in support of raising awareness about autism, and raising funds for chosen organizations supporting individuals with an autism diagnosis. This year, participants in the United States will be supporting Global Autism Project, and their mission to build local capacity to provide services to individuals with autism in under-served communities worldwide, and to address the lack of resources and extremely limited understanding of autism that plagues many under-served populations. The One Hour Long Cycle will take place on Saturday October 17, 2015, 11:00 a.m. (PDT).
