JOIN THE TEAM NOW! Throughout history, water has helped humankind make connections. Right here in the middle of Yates County, water from Keuka Lake flowing to Seneca Lake connects us to the world. Now donors from around Keuka Lake can help make connections with water around the world by joining the Keuka Lake team to raise funds during the Sept. 16 Walk for Water. The Walk for Water is a walkathon on the Keuka Outlet Trail that will raise funds to support three organizations committed to protecting our water and ensuring people in remote areas have access to clean water. The Friends of the Outlet work to protect the Keuka Outlet Preservation Area, the land surrounding the Keuka Outlet. HTS Congo is an organization based near Penn Yan that helps communities in third world countries develop systems to provide clean water and sanitation facilities. Penn Yan Rotary serves the local community and supports the Rotary International global project to ensure access to clean water and sanitation to all. Come on, Keuka Lake! Let's make another connection with Seneca Lake through a challenge to see which lake team can raise the most funds for these worthy causes!
