THE CAUSE THAT YOU WILL SUPPORT

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, the oldest hospital in the United States dedicated exclusively to pediatrics, strives to be the world's leader in the advancement of healthcare for children. Their physician-researchers are committed to finding cures for chronic and fatal pediatric illnesses. Therapies for children are often customized based on genetic makeup by drawing on the latest available information on the human genome and collaborating with other leaders in the field. Oncologists are working on therapeutic vaccines for children that teach patients' healthy cells to recognize and fight cancer. Other researchers are investigating prenatal stem-cell transplants to improve treatments for a variety of diseases including muscular dystrophy, leukemia and sickle cell disease. CHOPs strives in the timely recognition and treatment of rare diseases such as aHUs, port-wine disease, and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome amongst thousands of others.

ABOUT THE BUBBLE PALOOZA!

Way too often in life, we get caught up in the “important” things that really aren't that “important.”  The Bubble Palooza takes this head on by celebrating life, love, and bubbles! This year, we are running for the Children's Hospital of Philadelpia in the craziest bubble fest on the planet! After having completed Bubble Palooza’s extremely family friendly course: 1. Your definition of insane fun will be altered for eternity; 2. Your view of life will be extremely optimistic; 3. Your cheeks will ache for days from all the smiling; 4. Your heart will hurt from an overdose of bubbly love; and finally 5. You will once again believe in unicorns.  Whether you walk, run, cartwheel or bunny hop through the epic walls of bubbles, you will end up looking like you got into a fight with a rainbow…and lost! So put on your smiles, your tutus, your fruitloop necklaces and join hands with us under a rainbow of gratitude!
