BENEFITING: HERREN PROJECT

THE STORY:

Date: Saturday, July 30, 2016

Time: 11am-3pm (start time is definite, but end time can change depending on the amount of participants)

Location: Duxbury High School Turf Field (behind Steele Building)

Come join the Duxbury High School class of 2014 to help celebrate the life of our beloved classmate and friend, Khai Perry.

Khai was known for his contagious smile, joyful attitude, and his incredible athletic talent. He excelled in both football and basketball while attending Duxbury High School. Unfortunately, in the beginning of May he was taken from the world way too soon. Khai touched the entire class of 2014 with his kind heart and he will always be remembered.

With that said and with tons of help from many students of the class of 2014, we have decided to remember and honor Khai's life with a memorial flag football tournament. Both Khai's family and the class of 2014 have decided to donate all of the tournament proceeds to The Herren Project. For those of you who are not familiar with The Herren Project, it is a non-profit organization that focuses on raising awareness about the dangers of substance abuse.

General Tournament Information:

**The entire tournament is coed**

Each team will consist of 10 players max. This allows for each team to have substitutes if necessary. Every flag football team must have at least 7 players upon game day (each game is 7 v. 7). However, on the day of the tournament, if players from different teams (or last minute replacements) are able to play/fill any team in need of extra players, that is allowed and encouraged! Feel free to sign-up with a group of friends or join an existing team -- the more the merrier!

Player/Team Sign-Up will be done through this Sign-Up Genius Page: www.SignUpGenius.com/go/10C054DADA62CA1FD0-team

Registration Fee: $20 each

Registration period: Thursday, June 30, 2016 - Monday, July 11, 2016 (Additional instructions are featured on the Sign-up Genius page)

Can't make it to the event? You can still be a part of it! Additional donations can be made directly to The Herren Project in memory of Khai through this Crowd Rise page. From this site you can keep up with the progress of our fundraising. Help us reach our goal!

Thank you - DHS Class of 2014
