BENEFITING: Kids Off The Block, Inc.
Kids Off the Block (KOB) is a nonprofit organization that creates safe learning environments for kids, teens and young adults in the Chicago area. Founded by Diane Latiker in 2003, KOB provides individual meetings, mentorship programs and group discussions, which are currently held in Diane’s basement. In the 12 years since its inception, KOB has served over two thousand young people in the community.
This November, Diane was an honoree at the L’Oreal Women of Worth event, which recognizes women across the country who are doing extraordinary work for their communities. There, Diane met Karlie Kloss and other members of the L’Oreal family who are proud to support KOB and help the organization reach its fundraising goal of $80,000, which will go towards a larger learning facility in the neighborhood.
Join Karlie and others in supporting KOB’s work to create more programs and resources for young people across the greater Chicago community.
