Breaking the cycles of child abuse and homelessness among women are linked. This fundraiser provides everyone a chance to do a little and help alot. Donations will be split between Promises-2-Kids and Rachel's Women's Center, a drop-in center that provides a safe place for homeless women. Because we have great food and drink in San Diego, it's a way to have fun while doing something that makes a difference. More details are available on my website.
Win Food & Drink
Every $50 donation count as one entry for the donor to win great food (like a dinner for four at Urban Solace Restaurant or brunch for a month at Alchemy Restaurant) or great drink (a craft beer night out for you and your friends) and other great prizes. Details are on the website.
$5000 might seem like a small goal, but it would account for more than 25 early childhood developmental assessments as abused children come in to Promises-2-Kids. And it would provide dozens of women basic personal items so they can focus on other aspects of their lives. Little things do matter and your help can make a difference.
