BENEFITING: Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation
EVENT DATE: Apr 27, 2013
DID YOU KNOW
Every 3½ minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer. That's two classrooms full of kids diagnosed each school day!
Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation was born twenty years ago from the simple dream of an eight-year-old boy who lived in Algonquin and attended Eastview Elementary until the second grade. His name was Bear and his dream was that every child fighting cancer should have the same love and support he had during his long, hard battle!
For twenty years, in Bear's memory and in honor of so many brave children, Bear Necessities has been dedicated to eliminating pediatric cancer and to providing hope and support to those touched by it.
You can make a difference in the lives of children fighting cancer here in the Chicago area and across the country by participating in the Annual Kids Run for the Bear at Eastview Elementary!
Register today (kids 11 & under) for the Annual Kids Run for the Bear and start collecting pledges for race day to help Bear Necessities help these kids!
Registration forms are available in the Eastview Main Office. You can also visit www.bearnecessities.org or contact Karen at 312-214-1200 x29 to learn more.
