I'm a parent of two athletes. Triathlon is a great activity for kids, but expensive. I am doing my part to help other kids get involved.  See more

Founder Bob Seebohar has always had a passion for teaching. He began to appreciate his passion during his time as an undergraduate student in college where he began his career path as a health professional. Studying the intricate aspects of the human body and mind through exercise physiology, nutrition, wellness and behavior change coursework, inspired Bob to share his knowledge with as many individuals as possible. His passion for working with young individuals began during college when he began teaching children how to swim. Teaching such a fundamental skill was inspiring for him because he was able to improve a child's self confidence by teaching them that they could do anything that they set their minds to with positive instruction and guidance.

The message of inspiration is the cornerstone of Kids that TRI. Bob formed the 501c3 non-profit organization as a way to teach youth, their families and communities how to lead a more active lifestyle by adopting physical activity, nutrition and wellness principles into their lives. Kids that TRI inspires through sport but functions much more that a traditional team. We teach our youth how to be good role models and students, how to make the right choices and how to inspire others to do the same. We are a family that teaches life lessons through sport.

Kids that TRI takes every opportunity to teach respect and what it means to develop high self confidence and be a good person. Sport is our journey for these life lessons.
