THE STORY:

We are looking to help raise $250,000 total before next summer to save the stadium, and bring the 2015 Babe Ruth League World Series to Klamath Falls, Oregon which will draw tens of thousands of people to this small town from all over the world... and give these blue collared and more than deserving people a chance to boost their economy and create more jobs.

With Kiger Stadium facing the possibility of funds being diverted to another city park, after 66 years of memories and generations of families, fans and baseball players… it may have to be closed down permanently, and possibly destroyed. Kiger Hops was created to give the stadium, that should be a national landmark (and some day will be), another use besides baseball and help raise the funds necessary to save the stadium... as well as bring awareness to the issues the stadium is facing.

Kiger Stadium is a piece of baseball history. Not just in Klamath Falls… but on a global scale. Americas past time’s first stadium ever built was all wood. They are expensive to maintain, but Kiger has a feel, look, and history that holds dearly to the hearts of every athlete and every fan that has ever played or been to the stadium. Hundreds of future pros, hall of fame baseball players and football players, actors, musicians, famous writers and more have played on the field over the past 66 years during their youth. The rich history creates an amazing venue for musicians and singers to play at and memories they’ll never forget. The stadium is truly something special to see and experience.
