HOPE!!! A small word with huge importance. Each year the CancerClimber Association takes an expedition team to Africa to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro. The team usually consists of climbers who will be honoring someone they know who has been touched by cancer, and one survivor who is awarded a support grant from the Cancerclimber Association. Sean Swarner(co-founder of CCA and also a 2x survivor, mountaineer, author, and one of the worlds top 7 inspirational speakers)will lead the team for his 13th year in a row. Each year the team carry's a flag to the top of the mountain. This is where you can be a part of the team and a part of the climb. By making a donation you can add the name of a loved one who has been touched by cancer to our flag. Memorializing them forever on the roof of Africa!
"The human body can survive for about 30 days without food. The human condition can sustain itself for about 3 days without water, but no human alive can survive for more than 30 seconds without HOPE, because without hope we have nothing!" Sean Swarner
Please add the names of those you wish to honor in the "comments section" and they will be added to the flag this July before the team heads up. This flag remains upon the summit at 19,342' to commemorate their battle with cancer.
