BENEFITING: FOUNDATION FOR TOMORROW
EVENT DATE: Feb 26, 2012
Mileage Tracker: 29
21% of kids (5-14yrs) are involved in child labor activities here in Tanzania. This month I am running 21km on Feb. 26th at the Kilimanjaro Half Marathon on behalf of those kids as I raise money to contribute to putting those children in schools and improving the quality of the schools here. I am asking my friends and family to sponsor each of the 21km at $50 USD a km. I will then be able to think of and thank each and everyone of you who are getting me up and down the mountain. While you all might not be with me in Tanzania your support will get me through this!
Thank you for considering to donate towards my efforts to run. The statistics here in Tanzania are staggering. I know it might seem that I am always running but in fact the issue is large and I will continue to fight towards improving the access to education and improving the quality of it. Geography shouldn't dictate how far an individual goes in their life or the quality of education they recieve. I am running to support The Foundation For Tomorrow (TFFT), a non-profit that provides scholarships to orphananed and abandoned children while also improving the quality of education here in East Africa.

Thank you all for your support and belief in our work!
Please know donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts. Should you want to bypass the credit card route please feel free to send checks to our P.O. Box 470836. Charlotte, NC. 28247. To learn more about TFFT please visit www.thefoundationfortomorrow.org.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
