My name is Kimberly Morse I have been married to my incredibly supportive soul mate Russell for 29 years. We have two amazing children with spouses: Nyssa & (Adam) and Kody & (Rachael). Nyssa has blessed us with 3 beautiful grandgifts, Kalea, BooBoo & Kenzee who we enjoy spoiling or I mean loving too much! My support team starts right here! Genealogy is my favorite hobby and when I am not researching my family tree for hidden treasures. I can be found spending time creating in my CRAFT CAVE. I am a full time volunteer for our city's Museum in Hudson, MI where I help preserve the past for the future to enjoy. I am a 50 year old 4th generation breast cancer gal. Besides my Grandmothers and Mom I have Siblings, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins & friends that have had their battle with this "c" word. I had watched my grandmother and mom start with cancer in one breast then years later spread to the other side. So I had made the decision when I was 18 that if cancer came my way both of my breast were being removed. I was upfront with my husband about my choice before we were married. I knew he was a keeper when he told me “I am in love with YOU not your boobs, they are just a bonus”. After losing 150 lbs my cancer was easier to detect and I was able to avoid chemo & radiation by having a bilateral mastectomy with clear margins. I started modeling at “Bras for a Cause” because of the awesome way of SUPPORTING Gilda’s Club. In these 4 years I have met so many wonderful friends & other models I now call SISTERS! Tonight I am walking this catwalk: IN MEMORY of my Art Bra creator’s brother Jeff Cox who served in the Marines. He lost his life 30 years ago but will always be a hero in his loved ones hearts. ALSO IN HONOR of my dear friend Roger Jermeay who was serving at the Pentagon on that day of 9-11 & since then retired from the Army. Tonight my bra SUPPORTS each hero with hidden scars!
