Our first Kind Community week was a huge success with more than 4,000 guests attending our Kick-Off Celebration at Pocatello's new Wellness Complex.
We also had an amazing turnout for the Finding Kind documentary screening and assembly, with more than 1100 6th and 7th grade girls filling the Jensen Grand Concert Hall at Idaho State University's Stephen's Performing Arts Center. This was a magical event we want to bring to other students in our community. We also have other ideas for programming to reach all genders and all ages of students in our community.
You can help. Please consider a small donation to help us fund these programs and grow Kind Community. You can also purchase a Kind Community t-shirt ($13–$16) or the Kind Heart necklace ($18), the proceeds of which will support Kind Community programs. Please leave a note in the comments section: size and quantity for t-shirts and quantity for the Kind Heart Necklace. Thank you for your support.
Kind Community History
We founded Kind Community as a way to pool increasingly scarce and competitive resources together toward a common goal––focusing on initiatives the uplift and empower our community's youth––while recognizing and celebrating that there is power in numbers. By working together––as PARTNERS IN KIND––we all win.
A weeklong celebration of kindness will officially launch Kind Community in Pocatello and Chubbuck, Idaho, September 21–27, 2015 with events, programs and activities that educate, engage and encourage participation, including a FREE TO THE PUBLIC kick-off celebration at the beautiful new Wellness Complex.
At Kind Community, we celebrate the spirit of collaboration by empowering others to discover the value of a true partnership. By coming together to share resources and salute each Kind Community program’s individual strengths, we send a powerful message to our community that there IS strength in numbers. Thank you KINDly for supporting KIND COMMUNITY.
