KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools equips students with the academic skills, scholarly habits, and character traits to be successful in top quality colleges and the competitive world beyond. KIPP Metro Atlanta is part of KIPP (Knowledge is Power Program), a national network of tuition-free, open-enrollment, college preparatory schools serving students in underserved communities across the country. KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools currently serves approximately 3,650 students in eight schools, from primary to high school, as well as the KIPP Through College alumni support program. As public schools, we receive public dollars, but it is because of the generosity of individuals, corporations, and foundations that we are able to offer some of the things that differentiate KIPP – and that make all the difference in our scholars’ outcomes. These include more time in class, intense support for college admissions and persistence, transportation so that the students who need us most have access to our schools, and a scholarship endowment to help ensure that gaps in financial aid packages don’t stand in the way of our graduates turning college acceptances into college degrees.
