MAMA Project Honduras Mission Trip
Organized by: Kirby Brown
The MAMA (Mujeres Amigas, Miles Apart) Project works in rural Honduras bringing medical attention and the gospel to a great country. They also focus on malnutrition and nutrition training. Besides medical attention, they provide cement floors for those who are too poor to have one. I went in January of 2015 and the experience was life changing. Honduras is a 3rd-world country and its people lack basic needs such a good nutrition and medical care. I'd love to go back and work with these people as well as help spread God's Word. MAMA Project's mission is "to be a network to promote health and wholeness working through partnerships on many levels both national and international". Their vision is "to build a 'wall of protection' around children born into adverse environments to allow not just survival but also development to their full potential."
