I was reallly, really sick (like with my eyes literally popping out of my head) when Kitten Rescue saved me from East Valley Shelter. They took me straight to an eye specialist and I had to have my eyes removed. I know that sounds really extreme, but I could not see anyway and now I have no more pain. I can play and find the litter box just fine. I guess I have been blind as long as I can remember, so it is all that I know. Anyway, I heard that my vet bills were really high so I thought that I would try to help Kitten Rescue out by trying to raise some funds for my surgery. They are really nice people and they seem to help out a lot of special needs cats like me, so we should all pitch in a little to help them pay their vet bills (believe it or not, vets do not do this stuff for free!) I really appreciate it!
Here is more about Kitten Rescue-
Each year Kitten Rescue SAVES 1000 KITTIES and places them into loving homes: Kitties saved from the streets, kitties rescued from high kill shelters, kitties saved from neglect and abuse, kitties that have lost their mothers and need bottle feeding around the clock. No matter what their story is, they have one thing in common - They would not be alive without our help.
Every cat that comes into our system is spayed or neutered, FeLV/FIV tested, vaccinated, de-wormed, de-flead and microchipped before being placed into their forever home. They come to us with a variety of medical needs, ranging from upper respiratory infections to broken bones in need of surgery. The average cost for Kitten Rescue to save a kitty is $150.00. While adoption fees offset the cost of rescuing cats, we still spend an average of $150.00 to rescue a kitty because we take in many medical cases that can cost up to thousands of dollars for just one kitty... cats that have been hit by cars in need of surgery, cats who are severely ill that need to be hospitalized, cats who need to see expensive specialists, FeLV+ cats... Hospitalization, surgeries, blood panels and dental work are all very expensive procedures. We are dedicated to giving the best medical care to every cat that we rescue, so that they are 100% healthy when they move onto their forever home.
