On February 14, 2016, I'll run in my FIFTH LA Marathon to raise money for Kitten Rescue, a great animal rescue organization in Los Angeles. The money raised for KR is used to pay for the veterinary care for homeless animals, to make them healthy, fix and neuter, microchip, and make them ready for adoption. Los Angeles streets and shelters are overwhelmed with homeless animals, many of whom would be euthanized without KR's efforts. In addition to getting animals ready for local adoption, in 2015 KR started a great program to transport adoption ready animals from Los Angeles to other areas of the country which do not have as many cats - a win/win possible with your donations! KR's cats and dogs are fostered by volunteers who give their time, energy, and money to help socialize the cats and dogs. I adopted three of my cats from KR -- they would not be here if not for KR's lifesaving medical care and volunteers. Any and all donations are appreciated - every penny counts! Thank you!
