Many of us, in some way shape or form, have been dragged into the fight against cancer. For myself and my family, this is extremely personal. When I was 20 I lost my cousin Michael to cancer, he was only 19. Michael and I grew up together, and even when I moved to Atlanta I would still fly back to Chicago, or we would spend a couple weeks together during the summer at the beach. A day does not go by that I do not think about him. Some years ago I lost my Aunt Lori to cancer, she was my mom's youngest sister and the bright light in the room. A few years ago I lost my Uncle Sharky, Michael's father, to cancer. He was the gentlest of giants of man. As you can see this is extremely personal, and I'm sure many of you have the same stories. So far this year Rugged Maniac participants have raised over $155K for the American Cancer Society, and I am asking you to be a part of this challenge. All money goes directly to ACS. Any support, any donation is appreciated. It is so easy to post something on social media that says " Cancer Sucks". Here is an opportunity to help with the fight against Cancer.
