BENEFITING: American Red Cross
EVENT DATE: Oct 13, 2013
Why not run a marathon? And if I'm going to do it, why not do it for a good cause? The ER doctor in me gravitates towards doing intense things (marathon) and helping people when they most need it (Red Cross disaster relief). It's the perfect combination!
And now that baby Charlie is out in the world - watching, listening, learning - it's time to make an impression. This is the kind of thing we do, little buddy. We work hard, we do our best, and we do good things.
Training and race-day compined, I will be running a total of well over 400 miles. The last 26.2 of which I will be running with Megan's sister, Mary Kathleen, who is my partner-in-crime on this adventure (Megan and Charlie promise to cheer from the sidelines).
Please consider donating to the Red Cross in support of my efforts!
