Knowledge's Full Recovery
Organized by: Alex Hooker
I have a puppy who was hit by a car. It was my fault as I took him without a leash and took my attention away from him for just a moment to put something in my car. The person who hit him ran over him twice; his front half and his back half. Both sides of his hips are fractured, his right heel is fractured, he had fluid in his lungs, and a severe hernia where his intestines are being pushed out of where they are supposed to be. His front paws need reconstructive surgery as they have what the vet called "road rash" and have essentially been stripped of all their skin. To get all of the surgeries and medical attention he needs, it is going to cost over $3000. I am a full time college student and I don't have a job because I'm taking too many credits and don't have the time without overwhelming myself (I did it last semester and it resulted in my GPA dropping harshly). I'm taking every step necessary to make sure that he is as healthy as possible, but by paying these fees for him, I myself am going to be struggling on food and rent, if not homeless by the end of it all. I would appreciate any and all contributions made, but even if you are unable to contribute with a donation, just sharing this fundraiser with other people and spreading the word is enough for me! I would be very grateful and appreciate any efforts made to help me and this little pup. Thank you.
