BENEFITING: UPPER MERION PARK & HISTORIC FOUNDATION
Survey of King of Prussia Area Voters and Taxpayers with the goal to: Reduce traffic • improve area economy • increase public safety relating to the proposed KoP Rail expansion OVERVIEW King of Prussia area voters feel like they are getting railroaded, their voices being brushed aside by large concerns. This survey of KoP area voters will offer a way to counter these bullies and offer our elected servants hard data to review before having to make a decision on supporting the KoP Rail expansion. This survey project will be funded and conducted by homeowners, taxpayers and voters from the Greater King of Prussia Area. GOALS 5000 verified survey results by KoP area voters relating to traffic, business growth and resident safety pertaining to SEPTA’s proposed expansion. Presentation of results to Upper Merion’s Board of Supervisors in October 2016 Distribute press releases to media outlets of survey results. Who will be responsible for the collected monies? Vytas Masalaitis, I've been a resident in Upper Merion for over 40 years. Some of you may know me from my 22 years of service to KoP Fire Co. or from softball coaching for 7 years for UMBA. Disclosures: I'm very open to suggestions on how to make this process smoother, please let me know. I work 2 jobs and volunteer time is tight and my guess is that hiring a temp person to do verification and record keeping will be needed, I propose my college daughter simply because it's easier, again, if someone would like to volunteer to do it, I'm all for it, I'm not into spending your money needlessly. Secondly, most likely I'll use a printing firm that I have a financial stake in, this again is for ease since I don't have time to go looking for bids, etc. and I know the quality of work that gets done. I'll say it one more time. I'm not married to any of this and am hoping someone will step up and take on this work to free me back to try and earn a living. I'm not here to profit from any of this, I just don't have the time to do it differently.
