BENEFITING: BORGEN PROJECT
Join me in supporting The Borgen Project, a national campaign that works towards ending global poverty by making foreign assistance a focus of U.S foreign policy. We advocate, educate, and mobilize the public to inform their congressional leaders in hopes of passing poverty-reducing legislation. I advocate this cause because I believe the federal government doesn't do enough to help developing countries. The American public thinks that 25% of the federal budget is allocated for foreign assistance when in reality, it's less than 1%. Helping developing countries will not only create new consumers for the United States, but also improve our national security, economy and reduce over population. Why do you think we should help the world's poor? Tell me your thoughts and feel free to ask me any questions you may have. Check out www.borgenproject.com for more information! All donations are tax-deductible and goes towards public awarness campagins, technology, travel, web hosting, and general operating expenses. The Borgen Project operates from donated office space with an almost all-volunteer team. Every bit helps and I greatly appreciate your support!
