MYTEAM TRIUMPH INC wrote -Kyle first met Alex in grammar school. Kyle was friends with all the kids and they all tried to include him when they could. As time passed Kyle decided to go to a tech high school and lost touch with Alex. This past year they connected on Facebook and have been best friends ever since. Alex asked me if he could start racing 5 k's with Kyle and that is when my sons life changed forever. With a borrowed race chair from the Hoyt's they started racing and have not looked back. I can not begin to tell you the difference Alex and racing has made in Kyle's life. You See Alex is a wonderful young man. Not only is he kind and compassionate he doesn't treat Kyle as his friend who is disabled. He just sees him as his friend. Kyle is a warm ,caring ,smart social young man. I would not ever say racing has brought him out of his shell if you know Kyle he has no shell. Racing has just brought Kyle out into the community and has allowed him to be just a regular 23 year old doing what all these young men and woman are doing today.
