As many of you already know the Pat Tillman Foundation and helping military veterans is very important to me. The foundation provides scholarships for military veterans seeking a degree who show tremendous potential to lead others, contribute to society, and use their experience serving our country to do so. Over the last few years I've become more involved with the foundation and had the honor of being on their selection committee tasked with reviewing hundreds of applications for those seeking to be a Tillman Scholar. We reviewed applications from Navy Seals, Delta Force members, Army Rangers, Marines, nurses, medics, fighter pilots, and many other exceptional men and women who display tremendous potential but don't have the financial capabilities to pursue their goals after completing active duty. With your help they have a chance.
Pat’s Run is the signature fundraising event for the Pat Tillman Foundation. Held annually in late April ending at the 42 yard line of Arizona State University’s Sun Devil Stadium, the event attracts over 35,000 participants and volunteers. Together Nadia and I will both run 4.2 miles and honor Pat’s legacy while raising important funds to support the programs created by his wife Marie Tillman that pay tribute to his commitment to leadership and service.
I am writing to you today in hopes that you will contribute and help these men and women who have given so much for our country.
If you would be so kind as to lend me your support by contributing it’s very easy and takes about 2 minutes. You can visit my personal fundraising page below to make a contribution.
