Luchal's Catering Helping Fight Hunger In The Community
Organized by: Chantal Lucas
August 13, 2016
My name is Chantal and My objective is to open a vending cart that caters to the homelessness as well as regular patrons. I am starting off small due to the high cost of food trucks which I can not afford at this time. Under the food service regulations in Colorado I must have a particular cart to bend from which I can not afford. I am hoping to get enough sponsorship to get these iteams on my wish list, these ITeams would consist of NSF APPROVED CAMBRO KIOSK, NSF APPROVED SINK ATTATCHMENT AND A NSF APPROVED FRYER. I am committed to feed the homeless while vending in the Colorado Springs area and at the start of business . 30% of my profit will go to local food banks and Battered Women's Shelters. I am currently waiting on sponsorship from other local businesses in Colorado Springs. I am hoping to open October of 2016. I love cooking and I want to give back to the community, there are many homeless individuals, families, and vets who are not able to dine with dignity and eat great food. My menu would consist of steak, shrimp, pasta, fresh salads fresh burgers and other assorted entrees. I am hoping to make my dream a reality and eventually move up to a food truck.
