A retired engineering professor sold his condo, gave up his life in the Big Apple (New York City) and bought 43 acres of land in the Delaware Water Gap area and dedicated his life to rescuing farm animals, particularly cows. He has been doing this for 14 years with the help of a handful of volunteers. He needs our help!

In the meantime, please donate to our cause! Either on crowdrise or at www.cowprotection.com
Lakshmi Cow & Animal Sanctuary Fundraiser Goals:
- Build a fence around the property (42 acres). This will provide a clear line demarcation between the protected land of the sanctuary and the outside. We want to keep the hunters out!
- Pave the main road! It's in bad shape and needs a major overhaul. Paved road = safer driving year round = more visitors!!!
No donation is too large or too small. All donations are tax deductible - we are a registered 501c3 (nonprofit).
I have attached pictures of what our road currently looks like. I've also attached a video taken from a sanctuary in Germany. The creator of this video, Denis Vila, has kindly given us permission to use this video for our fundraiser. The rescued dairy cows at this sanctuary are being released to a field for the first time in their lives - the cows are literally jumping for joy!
Animals are incredibly intelligent, curious, social and loving creatures. They each have their own unique personality, they socialize with each other, explore the grounds and enjoy favorite snacks like cooked rice, bananas and glucose biscuits! If we can reach our goals, we can make it easier for visitors to come to the sanctuary and better serve and protect our residents. This sancutary has touched the hearts of everyone who has visited!
Our Mission: Rescue animals & promote love and compassion for all beings.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
