We made it! We have reached the last step of making KarmaSue a reality! This is where you come in. We need to raise $600 to cover the cost of submitting our Form 1023 to the IRS (which supplies us with a 501(c)3 tax-exempt status), launch our website, and cover the costs of this online fundraiser. The sooner we reach this goal the closer we will be to helping our community! Here is a little information about KarmaSue and what your donation will help support in the long run:
KarmaSue’s mission is to provide education, counseling, and financial support to Coloradan companion animals living with cancer and the families that love them in an effort to honor the human-animal connection. The vision is to provide support to families in Colorado seeking resources after a companion animal receives a cancer diagnosis.
KarmaSue’s programs include education regarding cancer and other health topics for companion animals, treatment options, plus how to maintain a healthy lifestyle; grief and compassion fatigue counseling and other outlets for grief; and financial support including connections to additional resources, if needed, for veterinary costs related to a cancer diagnosis and associated treatment.
We appreciate the support you have given us throughout our journey to start KarmaSue and give it the solid foundation it needs to thrive. Please note that donations made at this time are not tax deductible; we're working up to that part with this fundraiser. Thank you for making this dream a reality!
