BENEFITING: Susan G. Komen New England
EVENT DATE: Oct 04, 2015
I am riding this year, as with every other year that I have participated, for my Aunt JoAnne. Auntie Jo, my mom and I's greatest fan at the horse shows, lost her life to breast cancer early this year. Ever since I can remember, Auntie Jo would dedicate most of her vacation time to travel with my mom and I to our horse shows - whether it was to Pennsylvania, New York, Massachusetts, Canada, or beyond. The times that I spent at those shows with her were filled with countless laughs, hugs, make up time, and cheers. I miss her every day and I know that she would be proud that we are riding for the cure again this year.
Please consider donating to help in the prevention, detection and treatment of other women who fall victim to this awful disease here in CT.
The Komen Connecticut Ride for the Cure celebrates its 15th anniversary in 2015!
Did you know that Connecticut has the HIGHEST incidence of breast cancer in the U.S. with over 3,000 Connecticut women diagnosed annually? Komen Connecticut needs you as a part of our crusade to end breast cancer forever.
