Stuff About Me:

Hello there! In March, I’ll be traveling to Arizona to work with a team of veterinarians, technicians, and other veterinary students from across the country. We’ll be providing essential medical care to animals on the San Carlos Apache Reservation.

While on-site, the team will be establishing a MASH-style veterinary field clinic in the heart of some of the reservation’s most remote communities to help those without access to veterinary care.

Combining Two of My Passions

Many of you already know about my deep commitment to animal welfare and my desire to increase affordable access to vet care in underserved areas. Working on the Apache Reservation combines both of these passions—I’ll be helping the team provide much needed vet services to the animals at San Carlos while actively supporting an important community outreach program in a disadvantaged area.

Our field clinic event is organized by the Humane Society and Veterinary Medical Association - Rural Area Veterinary Service (HSVMA-RAVS). Each year, they provide over $1 million in free veterinary services through events like the one I’m helping with on the Apache Reservation. This important program reaches over 40 economically disadvantaged communities annually, providing veterinarian care to more than 8,000 animals.

HSVMA-RAVS also provides invaluable hands-on training from dedicated professional mentors for hundreds of future veterinarians in everything from diagnosing illnesses to performing surgery.

How can you help?

The money I am raising allows students, such as myself, to participate in HSVMA-RAVS teaching programs like the one in Arizona. I am extremely excited and honored to be selected to be a part of the San Carlos team and hope that you consider donating $10, $25, $50 or whatever is financially feasible for you.

Whether you’re reading this because you want to support my work or because you’re an animal lover at heart, I appreciate you taking the time to visit my Crowdrise page! Any amount will be truly appreciated!
