BENEFITING: ALLEGHENY CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES INC
EVENT DATE: May 04, 2014
As you know, one of my passions is running and Pittsburgh is my third half marathon this year! A second passion is helping older adults find meaning, security, and fun as they age; that's why I work as the CEO of Laurel View.
You can help me support the not-for-profit ministry and mission of aging services of Laurel View Village by making a donation to me as a runner of the Pittsburgh Half on Sunday, May 4th! All donations go to help older adults who've outlived their resources.
Laurel View Village is a not-for-profit senior life community providing all levels of living from independent to personal care and nursing care. Located in Davidsville, PA, just south of Johnstown, PA, Laurel View was founded in 1992 by eight local churches and is the home of 330 elders, served by 230 staff.
Laurel View Village is committed to advancing and providing a high quality continuum of care to older persons of the Laurel Highlands Region with an emphasis on service excellence and cost effectiveness.
Annually, Laurel View Village incurrs approximately $500K of unpaid care costs for persons who have outlived their resources. By contributing through this website, you will be helping care for older adults from the Laurel Highlands who have outlived their resources.
On behalf of the residents and resident families as well as the Allegheny Christian Ministries Inc. governing board, thank you!
Dan March, CEO
