Right now, 16 million children are at risk of going hungry - they don't know where their next meal is coming from. The reality is there IS enough food in the world today for everyone to get the nourishment they need for a healthy and productive life. Hunger is a solvable problem. It's something we can do something about, and make a huge impact in a very simple way.
Therefore, Women's Health magazine came up with the idea for Run 10 Feed 10, and is spending $500,000 to $1 million to get the initiative up and running. The goal of the program is that each person who registers to run in 10-kilometer races in Boston and 10 other cities from Sept. 23 to Oct. 13, will result in donations through the foundation of 10 meals to people in need in the runner's community.
The Boston race is being held on Saturday, September 29. My goal is to raise at least $300 with your support and generosity :)
Please help me to raise money for this amazing cause! Any small donation is greatly appreciated and makes a huge difference!
