I have signed up to complete a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and 26.2 mile run all for charity! And maybe a little for myself :P. Currently I train with T3 Austin, an amazing group of people and coaches! And they have inspired me to do races I never though I could complete, if you had asked me several years ago if I would ever run a race longer than a 10k I would have laughed in response. And here I am having completed in 2 half ironman distances and several other triathlons! There is just something about this sport that continues to lure me in, not only do you train your body to race these distances but you must be prepared mentally for a long and grueling day.
So join me in raising money for the Ironman Foundation! I have decided to compete in my first full distance Ironman in 2015, and since training for an ironman can take over a person's life I have decided to use my goal to help Ironman leave it's legacy behind in the cities that provide us community love and support. Money donated is used to help various athletic,community, education, health, human services, and public benefit non-profits organizations around the world and yes, it is tax deductible ;).
