THE STORY:

I have been called to serve on the mission field this spring. I will be traveling to Chile from March 12th through March 20th 2016 as part of a team from LifeBridge Celebration Church in Tampa, Fl. I have prayed and thought a great deal about this and I believe God is asking me to take this step of faith and help spread His Word in South America. I will be ministering at Iglesia Centro Familiar Antioquía (ICFA) in Lota, Chile. Lota is located just outside Concepción, Chile and was severely impacted by an 8.8 magnitude earthquake in 2010. Lota is one of the oldest settlements in Chile and was once a thriving coal mining town. Sadly, by the mid-1990s Lota’s coal mines were nearly depleted and it was no longer cost effective to purchase coal from Chile causing the mines to shut down and the city to be plagued by poverty. Today, Lota remains one of the poorest cities in Chile yet, the people of ICFA have a deep and abiding love of Christ and a desire to partner with us to reach the community and bless families throughout the city. During our time in Lota we will be assisting with workshops, evangelism and building improvement projects. We will also be working with a foundation that supports single mothers and offering community outreach opportunities like a baseball camp and home visits. God has opened this opportunity to minister with, and to, the people of Lota, but it is your prayers and support that will make it possible. I would like to ask you to partner with me in this important venture by giving a gift of financial support. Your gift will go 100% toward funding our important work in Chile. May you be richly blessed you as you join, in prayer and support, with me to impact lives for Christ in Lota, Chile.
