BENEFITING: ARMY RANGER LEAD THE WAY FUND
ORGANIZER: ARMY RANGER LEAD THE WAY FUND
I'm running in the TCS 2016 NYC Marathon under the umbrella of the Army Ranger Lead the Way Fund, so that I can raise money for this great charity. The Fund supports disabled U.S. Army Rangers and the families of Rangers who have died, have been injured or are currently serving in harm’s way around the world. It provides spouses and children of deceased, disabled or active duty Rangers with assistance for health and wellness programs and other services determined to be vital to the family’s well-being, beyond what the government can offer.
Some of you know that I carry 2 small flags during my previous marathon runs in honor of 2 of my brothers in arms that were taken from this earth far too early, afterwards I place the flags at their final resting place in Arlington Cemetery, sadly this year I will be carrying a third flag after recently losing a former shipmate who succumbed to the unseen battle he fought after coming back from our last deployment in Afghanistan. If each my FB friends would donate just $5 I would surpass my goal.
look in your couch cushions and under your car seats….. 100% of this goes directly to the charity; I will pay my own way in all aspects.
Please help by sharing this on your FB page with your friends
If digital payment is not your thing, you can make checks out to the address below. Just be sure to indicate that the check is on behalf of Michael Johnson's fundraising event, so that the Fund knows who to credit on this page:
