Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for City of Hope!
I am conquering the Los Angeles Marathon on Sunday, March 18... my first full marathon, and second race where I am raising cancer awareness with The City of Hope Cancer Research Center located in Duarte, California.
During my undergrad years at UCR, I initiated into Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. In the Fall Quarter of 2005, the Delts lost our brother Jeremy Harrison due to complications of leukemia. Since then, we have been dedicated to raising cancer awareness in the campus community with UCR's largest philanthropic event, Delta Queen, and created a scholarship in his honor, The Jeremy Harrison Memorial Fund. With the efforts of the Fraternity, community, and relentless participants, we have raised over $250,000 since the first Delta Queen event.
Any donation amount will tremendously help raise cancer awareness and support the breakthroughs in research and care the City of Hope facilities provide. You don't have to run 26.1 miles (it aches just typing that) or sing and dance in your sorority letters. All it takes is the simple click of your mouse.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and completely secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Thanks for your support and please pass this message on!
