BENEFITING: TOWER CANCER RESEARCH FOUNDATION
EVENT DATE: Jul 26, 2015
Last October, I signed up to do a triathlon at Goleta Beach in July, ’15. In December, a few days before Christmas, I was diagnosed with lymphoma. So I figured that the triathlon was out. Then, just after New Year’s, I met Dr. Fred Rosenfelt. The first thing he said to me was “we’re going to cure you”. And that’s what he did. So I am training for this event with him in mind.
It would be great if you would use this opportunity to make a donation to his foundation. Then enjoy the hilarious hi jinx of desperate gasping for air on the ocean swim, the contortions of taking off the wetsuit, wondering “will she remember to unclip her bike shoes before dismounting?” and the run toward the finish line where we all hope there will be no vomiting. David (yes, he got dragged into it too) and I thank you for whatever you can give. Lee Shallat Chemel
