Update on Direct Relief's efforts in Haiti

BENEFITING: Direct Relief
October 11, 2016
By now, people the world over are aware of the devastation in Haiti that is the result of Hurricane Matthew. There are currently at least 1000 Haitians who have lost their lives. People are contracting Cholera, an often fatal disease of the small intestines, due to the contaminated water. We have seen photos of the astronomical number of destroyed homes. We have watched footage of the people scavenging for salvageable items in their homes, trying to do what they can with the very little they have left.
Haiti needs our help!
Please give what you can to help with relief efforts. There is no amount that is too small. We are fundraising on behalf of Direct Relief and 100% of the proceeds will go directly to Direct Relief.
Direct Relief is a non-profit organization and uses 99.2% of the donations it receives on the programs and services it delivers. You can rest assured that those in need are getting as much aid as possible.
Direct Relief has made available its entire inventory of medicines and supplies – valued at nearly $100 million – to help people affected by Hurricane Matthew. In addition, the organization has committed up to $250,000 in cash to assist with the storm response.
Please help us reach this small goal.
