Leo's Emergency Medical Technician Class
Organized by: Leo Cuomo
I am a volunteer with the United State Coast Guard Auxiliary. I have been a member of this organization since February, 2015 and have never received any compensation for my service. This organization supports the mission of the Coast Guard to keep America's coastal waters safe. They have provided me with excellent training, but they are unable to cover the cost of further training for me to become an emergency medical technician or EMT. In order for me to take the class to become an EMT I would have to pay $905 and I am unable to afford that amount. I am asking for your assistance to help me cover the cost of the class so that I can learn to be an EMT. Every little bit that you can give will be helpful for achieving my goal. For me to become an EMT would provide me with invaluable skills to help people and the Coast Guard. Life saving skills would be extremely valuable to help people; to be the first on the scene of near drownings and other accidents where people have been injured and being able to know what to do in those situation to help these persons would be of great importance in saving lives. Please support me in my mission to serve my community. Anything that you can give is greatly appreciated.
