BENEFITING: CHALLENGE ASPEN
I hope you wil support me and Challenge Aspen for this incredible race. The long hours of training make it worth it when I think about what challenge Aspen does for our community and way beyond.
I not only run this race for challenge Aspen and all the people this organization has helped, but I am running and training in memory of my brother Bobby, who we lost to suicide not long ago. I think about my brother when I run these days and it helps me get through this loss. He will be by my side in spirit as I attempt this difficult race.
Since 1995 Challenge Aspen has been dedicated to providing recreational, cultural & educational program for people living with disabilities. Our Co-Founders believed that access, community and participation were the keys to healing and establishing rewarding lives for those with disabilities. Challenge Aspen has carried those ideals forward and continues to connect, encourage and inspire those with physical and cognitive disabilities and those who are privileged enough to work with them. Challenge Aspen is helping to break through barriers, helping individuals gain the self-esteem and confidence needed to lead fulfilling, productive lives.
The Challenge Aspen Marathon event is in its 13th year of supporting the Challenge Aspen programs through the participation of our dedicated, amazing runners, walkers and wheelers! If you have ever wanted to run or walk a marathon or half marathon, and would like to make a difference by supporting an organization dedicated to creating possibilities for people facing disabilities, you should be a member of the Challenge Aspen team as a runner, walker, and a donor. Now is the time to make that commitment.
Please donate to support Challenge Aspen programs and these amazing, dedicated runners and walkers! All donations are 100% tax deductible, and will make a difference in the lives of individuals living with disabilities and their family members. Thank you.
Be inspired to put your best foot forward this year and join us!
