I'm super excited to walk in my first ever Grand Rapids Red Project HIV Walk on September 9! AND, it's the 25th anniversary of the very first HIV Walk in Grand Rapids!
As a member of the board of directors I feel compelled to share the Red Project's non-profit grassroots work with our community, so here is a link to their website.
Simply put, Red Project is a life saver in the greater Grand Rapids and Muskegon areas, via evidence based resources and harm reduction tools and programming. These services are provided to each and every person that walks through the Red Project doors, WITHOUT JUDGMENT! This hard and sometimes messy, heartwrenching work ABSOLUTELY reduces the risk of contracting and spreading HIV and Hepatitis C, which in turn saves lives! Harm reduction is the name of the game, friends!
By signing on to walk and raise funds for this event (my personal goal is $250, but I'd like my team to raise a minimum of $1,000!), whether it's with this team or another, you get to be a LIFE SAVER, too!
See you on the pavement!
