Alex Berlin, 23, was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma a week after graduating with his Master’s in Accounting from Michigan State University, where he also completed his undergraduate degree in Accounting. He plans to start working full-time with Ernst & Young in Detroit at the end of July.
Alex is a proud brother of Sigma Alpha Epsilon where the trend called #LiftForBerlin started. #LiftForBerlin is a way to show your support, encouragement, and positive energy for Alex and all cancer warriors. The trend demonstrates we all have the strength to battle cancer, stay active, and never stop competing in life. Alex is a true champion: from hockey, to golf, and in the gym.
Please join his family, friends and Brothers of Sigma Alpha Epsilon by supporting Alex and others as they fight their battle against Ewing’s Sarcoma! Show your support, go work out, go for a walk, eat healthy, stay positive, do a good deed, pay it forward, or just simply smile.
The money raised will support Miles2Give, a sarcoma cancer research foundation. Alex was visited in the hospital (see video) by the Miles2Give team of runners who are running the entire perimeter of the United States to raise awareness for sarcoma.
