THE STORY:

CITIZENS OF THE WORLD joins Studio Unite and Third Wave volunteers who have been delivering Solight Designs innovative origami solar lights to the Syrian refugees for the past 2 years and many other man-made and natural disasters, including Nepal earthquake and Haiti's numerous disasters.

Late last year Hurricane Matthew ripped through the south of Haiti destroying homes and wiping out their food crops. We have been busy delivering fast crop seeds and solar lights to remote regions.

PLEASE JOIN US IN HELPING HUMANITY THROUGHOUT THE WORLD

YOUR CONTRIBUTION WILL PROVIDE A CHILD OR FAMILY WITH A SOLARPUFF AND YOU CAN HELP LIGHT THEIR WAY...

AND I WILL POST VIDEO AND PICTURES OF THE SMILES AND GLIMMER OF HOPE THAT YOUR DONATION PROVIDED

Alison Thompson, her third wave volunteers and I will be traveling to these and more locations starting in September. If you don't know who Alison Thompson is then you should watch this. https://www.facebook.com/JoinCOTW/videos/1976044572682391/ SolarPuffs - are solar powered, use no batteries, last up to 12 hours, waterproof, recyclable, and Alison and I will be delivering them to people in dire need in time of disaster all over the world.

A tax receipt can be provided with your donation..so we can take as many lights with us as we can.

Please consider a monetary donation today so we can bring as many lights and supplies as possible. On behalf of the refugees, the volunteers, and our network of partner organizations we thank you for sharing your light.

The refugees arrive cold, wet and hungry and many are in shock- one lady gave birth on the beach a few days ago while 3 others drowned. On arrival volunteers try to give them dry clothes and food and medical attention and then refugees have to walk a long way again to get to the next destination or the refugee camps. We have had emergency calls over the weekend pleading for solar lights as the large tents and camps in so many areas are pitch black.
