Lillie Delphine Memorial Garden
Organized by: Felicia Rodrigo
Lillie was born on April 21, 2016 prematurely at 24 weeks. I went into labor with her because my scar from my previous c-section ruptured, causing my uterus to rupture. The placenta split completely from her in my womb. I bled internally, loosing over a liter and a half of blood. I almost died in the process. She was not expected to survive the delivery. She survived with a grade 4 brain bleed on both sides, damaged lungs. She fought for her life for a week. She was described as feisty, fighting not for life. Her brothers longed to bring her home, play with her and begin a life with her. We want to plant a garden in her memory. In her short time she brought many hope, strengthened our faith and the faith of others and inspired many to pray and appreciate life and love. We miss her, but we're blessed to experience her for the short time she was here.
