BENEFITING: RAPTOR TRUST
Latest Update 12/18/15
WOW, We achieved our goal in less than 3 days! Thank you all so much for donating to Lily and the rest of the birds at Raptor Trust. We have set a new goal of $3,500. Treating and caring for Lily and other birds are extremely expensive. With your help and support we are confident we could achieve this goal before the New Year. Lily is still in serious condition. He is being forced feed and Raptor Trust will need to test his lead poisoning levels in a couple days. The good news is he is starting to stand on one of his legs and is extremely feisty.

Many of you have been following the story of Lily, the injured bald eagle that was in our New Jersey neighborhood tree for over 72 hours. We were all relieved when the bird came down from the tree and was rescued; however, we are deeply saddened to discover that the injuries were sustained from a gunshot. Lily is being treated at the Raptor Trust facility in Millington, NJ. The Raptor Trust is an excellent non-profit organization that rehabilitates injured birds.
Our daughter Anna wanted to know what we could do to help Lily. We have decided to raise money for Lily and other birds like him being treated at Raptor Trust. Let’s show that human kindness is stronger than the cruelty inflicted on this bird.
God Bless and we appreciate your support. 100% of proceeds go to Raptor Trust. Raptor Trust is a 501c and all donations are tax deductible.
