My neighbors, the Linkerts, are always the first to help when someone in the neighborhood needs something. Whether it's a hand loading something into the car, mowing the lawn while your away, or clearing snow from your driveway "just because". They have a dying Maple tree in their yard, which goes through the power lines serving their home. In June of 2013, Mark got a quote to have it removed for $700 and was going to have it removed in early July. Well, the first week of July, Mark suffered a stroke, and had to put off removing the tree for financial reasons. He's made great strides in his recovery, but ongoing medical costs for his therapy, and his inability to work for almost six months, have made the tree removal a low priority. To pay him back for all the good deeds he's done for the community, I would like to help them have the tree removed at no cost to them. It would be one less thing looming over him, and save him great expense should the tree fall on its own.
