Operation of Hope, special patient, Blessing Makwera from Zimbabwe, Africa, he suffered a land-mine detonator explosion in his mouth at the age of 14. Lisa is currently hosting Blessing in her home in Boise, Idaho as he is attends school awaiting the completion of the multiple and complex surgeries needed to restore his handsome face.
All funds will support Blessing’s dream of going to University in 2015 and the continued work of Operation of Hope.
In Blessing's words: "My hope is to attend University, while awaiting the rest of my surgeries, and become a mechanical engineer. I'd like to return home to Zimbabwe to give back to my homeland and to help Operation of Hope with their work of giving another child hope, like they did for me."
