EVENT DATE Oct 08, 2016

THE STORY:

My name is Nash and I will have my Bar Mitzvah next year. An important part of becoming a Bar Mitzvah is to create a project that is meaningful and makes the world a a better place. I did not have to ponder this at all. Live Like Lou is my heart. So it is my project. Let me tell you a little bit about the organization and how it came to be. My dear friend Patrick Alexander's dad passed away from ALS last year. He started the Live Like Lou organization to help people and families living with ALS (learn more at www.LiveLikeLou.org). It is called Live Like Lou because Lou Gehrig, the famous all star baseball player, also died from this disease. Lou Gehrig was Mr. Alexander's hero because he did not die without a fight and he felt so lucky for the wonderful life he had. I am hosting a hockey tournament because hockey is what I love and we can all have a great time while benefiting Live Like Lou. I hope you join me!
