BENEFITING: JACKSON CHANCE FOUNDATION
EVENT DATE: Aug 26, 2017
I'm riding 111 miles to ensure that the financial burden of parking fees never stand in the way of a parent being with a child. All proceeds support, Jackson Chance Foundation, a nonprofit organization which provides complimentary parking passes to families with babies in the neonatal intesnive care unit (NICU). This ride is in honor of JCF's true founder, Jackson Chance, who was born on 11/11/11 at 11:11pm and spent all but 48 hours of his 10-month life in the NICU. Jackson's parents saw too many babies alone for days or weeks at a time due to one burden - high cost of parking. That is why they started JCF because every baby deserves their basic human right of advocacy, support, and human touch 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. JCF provides so much more than a parking pass – it provides a critical benefit for babies in the NICU. Every $300 raised provides one family with one monthly parking pass. $10 provides a family with parking for one day. Help JCF help more families and make a contribution today.
