BENEFITING: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
ORGANIZER: LLS Pittsburgh
EVENT: Pittsburgh Marathon 2017
EVENT DATE: May 07, 2017
In July 2016, Thatcher Degnan was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL-B) while on vacation with his family. He was 2.5 years old when he began his fight with childhood blood cancer. Thatcher's life and the life of everyone in his army changed forever that day. Now 3 years old, he is progressing bravely through his chemotherapy treatment at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and remains "Thatcher Strong".
Thatcher's mom and dad (Angela & Brian) have joined Team LLS to compete in the Pittsburgh Half Marathon and raise awareness. This fundraiser is to support the incredible work of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Advancing research and awareness saves lives and provides hope to those affected. Please support this great charity by donating today.
Thank you and God bless.
Angela and Brian Degnan
